The Timberline Tree Shear is a commercial grade tree shear built exclusively to be used with Skid Steer Loaders. The HTC has the largest cylinder and porting of any tree shear we have ever offered. The larger porting and valving allow the flow of your machine to increase the speed of the cut.

In addition, the HTCX uses a 6 bore cylinder which increases the overall cutting power by 40% over our previous model. This feature has actually been helpful to people with less powerful hydraulic systems because it gives them more power overall where they need it most. Example: Your machine has only 2250 PSI of pressure. You can boost the power by using the commercial model because of the larger cylinder size. It will run a bit slower because of the larger porting and cylinder, but you will end up with 23% more power than the same machine with the TB-02. What is so useful about this shear? Cut a tree down, pivot the shear from inside your cab and cut the tree into sections. Reach up and trim a standing tree. Clear downed trees quickly and easily. Hardwood trees (Green) up to 14 in diameter. Jaws open large enough to allow a 22 tree, however we cannot guarantee it will cut as it is dependent on the hardness of the tree. Limitless uses in logging and timber operations. What can it not cut? Tires Steel Scrap Wire Dead Animals This is not a scrap shear in any form. The shear includes a blank backplate to allow the customer to add their own mounting ears. Electrical harness including switch, fuse and cable to wire to your machine. Since your machine has only one set of hydraulics, the shear has an on-board solenoid valve that switches the hydraulics from shear mode to pivot mode. Everything is supplied and you do not need to provide anything except about an hour for installation. Plug and play is now available for the Timberline Tree Shear for Bobcat machines e/w 14 pin connectors. Cat/ASV 8 pin plug and play also available.

New Holland and John Deere 14 Pin connectors just added. Our attachment can plug directly into your machine and operate from your stick controls.

The price now includes 1/2 flat faced couplers and free hoses. It is your responsibility to ensure that these are the correct couplers for your machine.
